Smita Gautam

Associate Attorney

Ms. Gautam is an associate attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on all manners of real estate litigation, including mortgage servicing and foreclosure-related matters, lender liability defense, bankruptcy, and contract disputes. Ms. Gautam has been clerking at the firm since her second year of law school. Prior to joining the firm, she interned with litigation practice groups in Atlanta, Georgia and in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as with the Federal Trade Commission’s Southeast Regional Office. As a law student, she was the Executive Symposium Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
